📕How to use NibID ?

Please note that this tutorial was written on September 6th, 2023. We are competing in the InnovateX Hackaton for Nibiru Chain, NibID is still in its very first version. There are much more features and improvements to come.

To launch the Dapp, go to nibid.xyz

You must connect your wallet, we recommend using Keplr. Create a Keplr wallet here : https://www.keplr.app/

As of now, we need to use CORS chrome extension to allow our domain on RPC backend, you can install it here : https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/allow-cors-access-control/lhobafahddgcelffkeicbaginigeejlf

Once it is done, you should be connected to Nibiru Testnet and the Dapp should be fully available to you.

First thing you'll notice is domains pricing. Please note that this is temporary and it will be adjusted when approaching final launch on mainnet.

In the Home section, you can :

• check domains pricing

• search for a domain

• register a domain for a specific period of time (1y, 2y, 5y, 10y)

• check total domains registred on NibID

• check total domains you own

• check which domains you own

• check domains expired date

• manage domains (extend their period)

Steps to buy a domain :

• Search the domain you'd like to register

• Select for how long you'd like to own this domain

• Click register

• If you get a red notification message, it means this domain can't be bought because an other user holds it

• If you get a green notification message, simply approve the transaction in your Keplr wallet

• Once you get the "Success" notification, you should be able to see and manage your domain on the Home page

What about the "Resolver" Tab ?

This section allows you to search for a specific domain and check which wallet holds this domain. It can become handy when you're doing some on-chain research or when you're looking to get in touch with the person holding the domain you'd like to buy.
